Day 1
Nairobi to Mount Kenya Foothills
Travel from Nairobi to the Mount Kenya foothills and settle into the confirmed base.
Day 2
Mount Kenya Forest and Foothill Experience
Take a guided lower-mountain nature walk focused on forest scenery, birdlife and the Mount Kenya environment; this is not a summit climb.
Day 3
Mount Kenya to Lake Nakuru
Travel to Lake Nakuru and begin the Rift Valley wildlife stage.
Day 4
Lake Nakuru to Lake Baringo
Complete the Nakuru programme and continue to Lake Baringo.
Day 5
Lake Baringo Programme
Spend the day on guided birding and, when weather, water conditions and the booked operator permit it, a boat outing.
Day 6
Lake Baringo to Kakamega
Travel west toward Kakamega Forest.
Day 7
Kakamega Forest
Join a guided forest walk and birding programme in Kakamega.
Day 8
Kakamega to Lake Victoria / Kisumu
Continue to the Lake Victoria/Kisumu area.

Explore the lakeshore and local birdlife; any boat excursion is included only when specifically quoted.

Will the same vehicle and guide operate in both Kenya and Tanzania?
Not necessarily. Cross-border safaris normally use a route-appropriate handover between the Kenya and Tanzania operating teams. The confirmed arrangement is stated in the final travel documents.
Which border crossing is used?
The crossing follows the confirmed route. Namanga is commonly used on the Amboseli–Arusha axis, while Isebania/Sirari is used for selected Mara–Serengeti road connections.

No. Wildlife and migration movements are natural and cannot be guaranteed.
