Cancellation & Refund Policy
Cancellation consequences depend on the final written quotation, timing and supplier commitments for the confirmed trip. This page does not invent a universal fee table.

Before a booking is confirmed
An enquiry or draft email does not reserve services. If you have not received written booking confirmation, tell Land Rail that you no longer wish to proceed so any quotation work can be closed.
Cancelling a confirmed booking
Send a clear written cancellation request to info@landrailsafaris.com. The date Land Rail receives the request is used to identify the terms and supplier commitments that apply. The lead traveller should include the booking reference and traveller name, but should not send payment-card details by email or WhatsApp.
Charges and non-refundable services
The final quotation or booking confirmation states the applicable cancellation terms. Charges may reflect work already performed and supplier amounts that cannot be recovered. Limited permits, park services, accommodation, transport or other pre-paid items may be non-refundable or subject to their own terms once secured. Land Rail will not describe an amount as refundable until the applicable booking and supplier position has been checked.
Refund handling
If a refund is due under the confirmed terms, Land Rail will explain the calculation and the available payment route after recoverable supplier amounts are known. Bank, card, currency-conversion or transfer costs may affect the amount received where the relevant written terms allow. Processing time depends on the payment channel and suppliers involved; no fixed time is promised on this general page.
Changes or cancellation by Land Rail
If Land Rail must materially change or cancel confirmed arrangements, it will communicate the available alternatives and any refund position under the booking and supplier terms. Safety, force-majeure events, park closures, border restrictions, weather and supplier disruption can affect what is recoverable. Nothing here removes rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.
Travel insurance and connected arrangements
Comprehensive travel insurance is strongly recommended from the time of confirmation. International flights and services booked independently are separate arrangements; check their change and cancellation terms. Read the Safari Booking Conditions before confirming.
